Your first step with and invialign treatment program is a consultation with a trained doctor in the process of assessing whether invsalign is a suitable for you.Following the determination that you are a candidate for invisalign, a casting of your bite will be made, which is the first stage of the invisalign process.This casting is sent for conversion to a digital model of the starting point of your invisalign treatment. A computer model of the changes required to treat you is programmed, and your aligners are created.
Sequence
You start with an aligner, which represents the first gentle change to your bite, and wear this tray as much as possible, except for cleaning, and eating.
Each tray is expected to function for about two weeks before the next takes over. Each is crafted from the computer model of what your optimum alignment would be, and changing trays is performed during frequent follow-ups to determine how you are progressing towards that perfect smile.
When can you expect to see results?
Results
Panoramic X-rays
Results, or Success will become apparent when you remove the aligner, and examine your appearance. The sequence of aligners gradually helps move your teeth into better alignment as you continue with the sequence; your optimized Smile begins to appear.
During the next months, frequent evaluations by the invisalign doctor will determine when it is the right time for the next step, and the whole sequence will take about a year from start to finish.
